How to Grant Partner Access in Meta Business Manager (Step-by-Step Guide)?

Step 1: Go to Business settings.

If you are working with a marketing agency or external partner, you may need to grant them access to your Meta Business Manager. This allows them to manage assets like Facebook Pages, ad accounts, and Instagram profiles without sharing login credentials.

In this guide, we will show you how to grant partner access in Meta Business Manager step-by-step.

       To access the Business Settings in Meta Business Manager, follow these    steps:

  1. Log In: Ensure you are logged into your Facebook account and go to https://business.facebook.com. This will open your Meta Business Manager dashboard.
  2. Access Settings: From the dashboard, click on the Settings icon and open Business Settings.
  3. Manage Users and Assets: Within Business Settings, you can add people or partners and assign roles such as Employee access or Admin access depending on the permissions required.

These steps will help you set up and manage your business effectively within Meta’s platform.

Step 2 : Click Partners under Users on the left tab.

In Business Settings, click Partners under the Users section, you can manage access for external partners who need to collaborate on your business assets. This feature allows you to add partners by entering their business ID, enabling them to access specific resources such as advertising accounts, Pages, and Instagram profiles.

To add a partner, simply navigate to the Partners tab in the Business Settings, click the Add button, and specify the level of access you wish to grant. This streamlined process facilitates effective collaboration while maintaining control over your business assets, ensuring that partners can assist with campaign management and analytics without compromising sensitive information.

Step 3: Click Add on the middle tab which has a drop-down menu. Click “Give a Partner access to your account”

Click the Add button in the Partners section, you can easily grant access to your business assets by selecting the option “Give a Partner access to your account.” This feature allows you to collaborate with external partners, such as agencies or consultants, by providing them with the necessary permissions to manage your advertising accounts, Pages, and other resources.

To initiate this process, click on the Add button in the middle tab, then choose the appropriate option from the drop-down menu. You will need to enter your partner’s business ID and specify the level of access you wish to grant them, ensuring they can effectively assist with your marketing efforts while maintaining control over your business assets. Once completed, your partner will receive an invitation to accept access, facilitating a seamless collaboration.

Step 4: On the pop-up, type Partner Business ID: 917256375138651 and click next.

When prompted by the pop-up in Meta Business Manager, enter the Partner Business ID: 917256375138651 into the designated field. This ID is essential for linking your account with the partner’s business, ensuring they have the necessary access to collaborate effectively. After typing in the ID, click Next to proceed with the setup process. This step allows you to select which assets you want to share with the partner, enabling seamless management and collaboration on your business initiatives.

Step 5: Select Asset Type > All Assets (All Assets like Pages, Ad accounts, Instagram Accounts, Catalogue, etc.) > Full Control and click Save Changes.

To grant access to all assets in Meta Business Manager, first select the Asset Type and choose All Assets from the available options, which includes Pages, Ad accounts, Instagram Accounts, Catalogs, and more. Next, choose the level of access you want to grant (for example Full Control or Partial Access), which allows the user to manage all aspects of the assets, including making changes and assigning permissions. Finally, click Save Changes to apply these settings. This process ensures that the designated user has comprehensive access to manage and operate your business assets effectively.
